Everything you always wanted to know about age verification but were afraid to ask

Beginning on July 15th, internet users in the UK will have to verify their age when viewing adult content online as part of the government’s upcoming Porn Block. The new legislation is designed to help protect children online by limiting their access to adult websites and content. However, adults that do wish to view mature content online will soon have to verify their age before doing so.

There are already several age verification systems set to be rolled out when the Porn Block comes into effect this summer. TechRadar Pro spoke with OCL’s CEO Serge Acker, who created the PortesCard, to find out how his anonymous, face-to-face age verification solution will work.
