At 5.00 am ET Thursday, Eurozone industrial production figures are due. Output is expected to climb 0.6 percent on month in August, following a 0.1 percent rise in July.
Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major rivals. While the euro rose against the pound and the franc, it held steady against the yen and the greenback.
The euro was worth 133.17 against the yen, 1.1552 against the franc, 0.8960 against the pound and 1.1862 against the greenback as of 4:55 am ET.
